TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the Lydia Jewels e-boutique. Before placing your order, please read through our terms and conditions carefully. By placing an order through www.lydiajewels.com, you express your understanding and agreement that you are bound by these Terms.

ORDERING

  • You will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order once you have placed your order.

  • Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Lydia Jewels will be effective when you place your order. The sale contract is concluded in Sydney, Australia and the language of the contract is International.
  • Prices, specifications, availability and terms of offers may change without notice. Correct prices and promotions are validated at the time your order is placed. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.
  • We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn.
  • Orders placed on a weekend or bank holiday will be processed on the next working day.

PAYMENT

  • Payment can be made via Paypal, direct deposit and credit card via Paypal. If you would prefer to pay by cheque or pick up from our studio in Alexandria, Sydney, please contact us.
  • All orders will be sent out once payment has been received and cleared.

SALES TAX

  • Lydia Jewels collects and remits GST taxes as required by law on purchases made via the e-boutique. For orders to overseas customers that don't pay the tax, the 10% is simply transferred over to be a handling cost.

AUSTRALIAN DELIVERIES

  • All pieces sent within Australia are delivered via Australia Post.
  • Free postage for orders over $100, otherwise a fixed price of $15 is paid for postage to anywhere in Australia plus packaging, handling and insurance. This is the market rate.
  • All pieces will be send via registered post. If you know no one will be home to sign for your package, we suggest you supply a work address.
  • Once your order has been placed, if one of the pieces you ordered is temporarily out of stock, we will send you an email message to notify you of the estimated delivery time.
  • Pieces will be delivered within 3 to 10 days as long as they are in stock. If you would like to have your pieces dispatched faster, please contact us.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY

  • We deliver to most countries and all orders are sent via Australia Post (airmail) or FedEx
  • International prices are calculated at checkout depending on weight, country etc
  • Prices include postage, packaging, handling and full insurance.
  • Most orders will be delivered within 7 – 28 days from the time of the order being placed if the item is in stock.
  • You are responsible for any duties, tariffs, customs charges or additional charges levied by your country of entry. Furthermore, Lydia Jewels is not responsible for any additional charges once the items you have ordered have left Australia.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS POLICY

  • Please choose your jewels carefully as no refund will be given unless merchandise is faulty.
  • Unworn items can be returned within 7 days for an exchange or credit only. You must notify Lydia Jewels by email info@lydiajewels.com or phone 02 8064 3311 to obtain a “Return ID number”.
  • You must provide a “proof of purchase” such as a bank statement, invoice or confirmation email. Returns are only valid if purchased from the Lydia Jewels e-boutique, not a Lydia Jewels external stockist.
  • Products must be returned to the Lydia Jewels studio in Surry Hills (contact us) at the cost of you.
  • Exchanges or a credit note will be provided by Lydia Jewels within 14 days of receiving returned items.
  • All items that are sent back must be posted via registered post. Any item that is not sent via registered post and goes missing in the post will not be credited. So we ask that you always post the item back via registered post.

WARRANTY

  • All Lydia Jewels pieces are hand made and all care is taken to provide the very best quality. Warranties extend to manufacturing faults only – these will be repaired at no cost.
  • The warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear and the warranty expires six months after the sale of the item.
  • Lydia Jewels should not be worn in water and care should be taken when applying perfume or creams.

GIFT VOUCHERS / COUPONS

  • Gift Vouchers may be redeemed at the Lydia Jewels e-boutique only
  • Gift vouchers are not valid to be redeemed at any Lydia Jewels stockist.
  • Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
  • Lydia Jewels does not take any responsibility for lost or stolen Gift Vouchers.

GIFT WRAPPING

  • Every single Lydia Jewels comes in a logo'd jewellery pouch and is beautifully gift wrapped.
